Food Inclusions
Food inclusions are solid ingredients intentionally added to a food product to enhance its texture, flavor, appearance, and nutritional value. Unlike ingredients that dissolve or blend completely, inclusions remain as distinct pieces within the final product.

Food inclusions are edible particulate ingredients (such as chocolate chips, nuts, fruit pieces, candies, cereals, seeds, or cookie pieces) incorporated into food formulations while retaining their identity during processing and storage.
